Northern Fix was founded on the simple principle of doing what you love to make a positive difference in your community.  My name is Shae Duncan and I am the owner/operator of Northern Fix.  Although I primarily handle the day to day operations, I consider Northern Fix a family business.  My wife Jackie, and my children Sophia, Tony, and Frankie are the heartbeat of Northern Fix.  I was able to make Traverse City home when Jackie and I moved here in 2007, and we never looked back.

I began my career in the trades at 14 years old helping build decks during the summers in Ann Arbor.  Naturally, as I got older, I gained a great deal of experience in almost all aspects of residential construction and home improvement projects.   While there was a little over a decade stint in the corporate life working for one of the major transportation carriers, I needed to get back to doing what I love and Northern Fix was the answer.
